Novid-19
Novid-19 is an app idea developed during the global pandemic period answering to the need of a quick and easy way to manage contagiousness.
A mobile first approach was taken since the main use will be on the go, on a day to day basis.
Interface ideation
The main constraint for the creation of the screens was the short life span of the app and the urgent deadline. The information arquitecture was kept minimal, focusing only on the main screen and quick usage since the focus was not to keep the user on the app but to make the tedious task, and main pain point, of adding contact and health data as quick and intuitive as possible.
Colours
Being a mainly medical app used during a stressful time, a blue centred colour palette was chosen due to its association with the medical field while also considering the association with calmness.
Typography
For the text a sans serif font with a rounded character was chosen for its neutrality and easy legibility on mobile devices while keeping a gentle character.
